While in a meeting, users can indicate that they have a question or comment using the Raise Hand feature, accessible from the status bar at the bottom of the meeting window.
Clicking the Raise Hand button notifies the Moderator and any Co-Moderators that a user would like to interject. A Raised Hand icon will also appear on the business card of the user who raised their hand. If multiple users raise their hands, their business cards will indicate the order in which they were raised.
Raise Hand is a simple but effective way of drawing the attention of a Moderator if the user or the entire meeting is muted.
The notification that the Moderator receives indicates which participant has raised their hand, and gives the Moderator he option of muting hand notifications for the remainder of the meeting.
Note: If the entire meeting, or a specific user, is muted, then that user will not be unmuted when they raise their hand.
To activate the Raise Hand feature and notify the Moderator or Co-Moderator
Click the Raise Hand button in the meeting status bar.
To dismiss the raised hand notification on a user's business card
Mouse over the Raised Hand notification on their business card and click.
