What you hear when attendees join or leave your meeting can be customized. You have the option of hearing Silence, Tones or Name Announce.
The Administrator of your account can change these settings for Moderators via our Portal found here: https://pragmatic.conferenceprovisioning.com/login.
NOTE: These settings take effect for all future calls, not the current call you are on. And you can change these settings at any time.
NOTE: If you wish to use the Name Announce, you will also need to ensure the Record Name feature is enabled (otherwise there would not be a recorded name to announce)
TIP: If you typically have large conference calls, you may not want to enable Tones or Name Announce because it may be a disruption to the call. On the other hand, some customers very much want this disruption as a means to confirm participants who are joining and leaving the call. You may end up choosing the setting that works best for you based on feedback from your conference calls.
